The Center for Kidney Care is the premier provider of Nephrology care in Southern New Jersey. We specialize in diagnosing and treating kidney disorders and elevated blood pressure.

Formerly known as Renal Hypertension Physicians, the practice was founded in 1987 by Bruce Zakheim, MD, who saw the need for specialty renal care in Burlington County, NJ. Today the practice has nine physicians who are all board-certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine, plus two Advanced Practice Nurses and two Nephrology nurses. The practice offers comprehensive kidney care in a compassionate environment. Our Mt. Laurel office is just off Route 38 and our Burlington office is conveniently located on Route 541 (Mt. Holly Rd).

► Prasad Acharya, M.D. served as presenter at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, speaking on "Cardio-renal Syndrome"
► Samir Shah, M.D. gave a presentation during Medical Grand Rounds at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County, speaking on “Electrolyte Emergencies”
► Matthew Solitro, M.D. offered a program at McGuire Air Force Base on “Caring for Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease”
